My trip to Zambales

June 18th, 2008 by admin in Personal, General, Travel

Last week my friend and his family invited me to visit their hometown in Olongapo, Zambales. I admit I enjoyed the experience a lot. It was approximately 2 hour drive from Manila. On the way to the mountains, I saw some rice fields with small houses. We passed by vast land with towers in it. I asked my friend if they are electric post. My friend said that some properties along the way are under a cell phone tower leases contract.

Zambales is definitely gifted with the beauty of its surrounding. Although it was touched by people it still maintained its natural beauty. The coastline of Zambales is surrounded by breathtaking beaches that are lined with coral reefs and sandy white sand. The town centers are located in low lying area. The mountain ranges that enclosed the whole city is really magnificent.

The province of Zambales is considered to historical place. Olongapo city is where the US naval base was located during WWII. There are a lot of ancestral homes found in the area. Although last 1991, Mt. Pinatubo erupted that caused major catastrophic disaster leaving homeless people, the province is slowly regaining itself in terms of economic as well as physical aspect.

December 13th, 2007 by admin in Travel

Just got back from my latest trip not so far away from here. I can say that it was a good experience because I’ve finally impress my driving instructor. He let me me drive about 30 KM back and forth. At first I was very nervous but after few minutes, I begin to get comfortable with my driving. This is a good news for me before I will go back to Las Vegas to join my family there this Christmas.

I will offer my service to my family as their family driver this Christmas vacation. I hope they would accept it, because right now I want to just drive, drive and drive. This Christmas vacation I will get the chance to celebrate the Christmas Eve with my girlfriend’s family. It is my first time to celebrate this important occasions, and I’ll probably proposed to her parents that we will be getting married in the year 2009. I’ll update you on this wedding plan on my future post. I’ll keep you posted.

Baguio City of Pines

December 9th, 2007 by admin in Travel

We will got to Baguio because we will be celebrating several happenings in our life. I will be celebrating the day that I’ve bought my first car. Good thing that I have obtain it because of mortgage refinance loans that was offered to me by a site that refinance online.  It was a dream come true for me because I’ve dreamed about this for quite a long time.

Last weekend, me and some old friend went to Baguio and it was really one unforgettable day I’ve ever had for quite a long time now. I’ll discuss on how our trip goes. It was Friday night when I went to my girlfriend’s house and I’m scheduled to sleep there because on the next day around 4am we will go to Mañaog Church then later to Baguio.  Because of excitement that night, I only slept 3 hours. I woke up 3am in the morning, my girlfriend wake me up with a gentle kiss on my chick and a hug. It was really a very fine morning for me.

A van picked us up around 4am. Around 2 hours before we arrived at Mañaog Church. We attended a mass and pray. After an hour we’ve decided to go to Baguio and visit the City of Pines. One of the popular travel destinations here in the Philippines. We reached baguio at exactly 10am. It was really cold and fine beautiful views. One of the places we’ve visited are Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, Baguio Public Market, The Grotto and The Mansion. Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to visit Baguio’s botanical garden and Mines View Park because time is our enemy. We have to go back to San Ildefonso, Bulacan before midnight. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience indeed.

Traveling Abroad

Since I’ve visited lot of tourist attraction here in the Philippines, I would like to try to travel abroad. I’m thinking of travel first in Asia. My first choice is to Visit Hong Kong and my second choice is to visit Japan, in particular Tokyo. I’ve already made a research on where to go on Hong Kong and also search for Tokyo guide. Tokyo is the home of the people who love night life, and theme parks not to mentioned delicious foods.

I’ve always wanted to visit Tokyo but I’ve heard it’s hard to get a travel visa in Japan because my friend recently applied for travel visa and up until know his status is still pending. But if will be given a chance, the first thing that I will do is look for the high end technology gadget that you can only buy in Japan. There are lot of technology in Japan that was being adapted by other countries. No doubt their the leader in high-end technology.

San Ildefonso, Bulacan Church

The beautiful church of San Ildefonso, Bulacan

The parade took around 2-3 hours. It was very tiring because I’ve joined the group of people pulling San Pedro. But it is really rewarding. After that I just want to go home and sleep.
